Kate describes the Ultra as being "very tough and tricky in places including the third section which included Box Hill and the Stepping Stones"; she finished at 21:45. Despite her very long day on Saturday Kate still managed to shave four minutes off her previous best time at Barns Green the following morning. She is competing in the Loch Ness Marathon next weekend.

YMCA Quiz Friday 27th September

Stewart McIntyre's Red'n'Blue Army took part in the YMCA fundraising quiz on Friday evening. Despite the quiz master doing her best to bamboozle us with rounds on Boy Bands and Roald Dahl, we finished in a creditable 4th place, just 2.5 points behind the winners...and in case you're wondering I won the bear in the raffle!
