Well done to everyone who took part in the MABAC race on Wimbledon Common on Tuesday evening. Whilst not quite a record turnout for us at a MABAC event, 20 seniors ran either the 1 lap 2,5 mile or 2 lap 5 mile races. It was great to see some first timers too.

Full results are available on the website, but Individual highlights included: Gavin Lawrence, first back in 16th place overall; Ginevra Stoneley and Jamilla Ncayiyana, 4th and 8th placed ladies; Lisa Payne, Anna Roberson and Claire Humphrey finishing within 5 seconds of each other; the return of Fran Afonso in RPAC colours having rejoined us as 2nd claim; and Gillian O'Regan & bump running the 1 lap race in just under 25 minutes.

The team finished 6th out of 10 on the night. Whilst overall we are still in 8th place, the gap to 6th and 7th is getting ever smaller with another 3 races to go in 2019.

The next MABAC league scoring fixture is on 22nd September in Lightwater Country Park. Details to follow soon. However, in the meantime, there is a non-scoring Pairs Relay on Sunday 18th August, followed by a picnic. More details are available in the flyer.
