9 of us ran at Farley Heath last Sunday in the final MABAC race for 2017. The course was just under 5 miles, with mud, sand, hills and a short road section. Charl Jordaan was first home for the men and Bethany Higgins was first lady. We all enjoyed the run, although Paul Sapsard had a nasty fall on the first lap.
It has a been a good first season in the MABAC league, with RPAC finishing 6th out of the 10 teams, despite often having many fewer runners compared to the other clubs. The league resumes for 2018 at Windsor Great Park on Sunday 14th January, an 8 mile road run in a unique location. Hopefully we can get more RPAC runners to turn out for this one, even if it is only for a training run the day after the Surrey League Cross-Country.
