Reigate Priory AC runners were out in force over the weekend.  On Saturday the ladies fielded two team in the annual Surrey Road Relays in Wimbledon.  The V35 team was lead off by Jo Davey who ran a strong 3 mile leg, passing over to Nat Wilson.  Taking over from Wilson was Sarah Campbell before Ginevra Stoneley ran the anchor leg.  Ginevra's impressive run was the fastest lap of the team, securing the team a Surrey Bronze medal and only missing out on Silver by 15 seconds.  The V45 team was led out by Alice Smith with Sonia Galloway taking over and Annette Morris running the last leg finishing the team in 6th place.

Reigate Priory had a large number of runners taking part in the 5th Reigate half marathon on Sunday, which is club's half marathon championship.  Battling it out for the club champion title were Fran Dunham and Matt Ryde.  Matt, running his debut race for the club, started to suffer with about 2k to go enabling Fran to pull away.  Fran managed to maintain his advantage, finishing 7th overall and taking the title of club champion in a time of 1.14.57.  Matt not far behind was the first V40 over the line and became the V40 club champion, finishing with an impressive personal best time of 1.15.14.  Other club titles went to Graham Bull (V50 champion) and Paul Chandler (V60 champion)  In the ladies race, Ginevra Stoneley retained the ladies club champion finishing 4th overall.  The other ladies champions were Ruth Willis (V35 champion), Claire Pryor (V45 champion) and Sarah Walters (V55 champion).  In the new 5k race this year, Reigate Priory's Gavin Lawrence was the first first across the line, whilst there was good RPAC representation in the 10k as well.

In Woking, three Reigate athletes took part in the MABAC league at Lightwater Country Park.  Malcolm Woodman was first home for the club over the hilly 5 mile course.  Malcolm was followed by Anthony Collins and Adriana Collins.

In the Berlin marathon on Sunday, Reigate Priory's Matt Aylott was attempting sub 3 hours . Matt, who has been training hard to run to achieve his goal, had an impressive run, smashing the 3 hour mark finishing in a personal best time of 2.54.48.
