A day of high quality athletics saw another clutch of medals won by RPAC athletes.

Having qualified for the Championships by competing for their schools in the district trials, the competition was fierce with the ultimate aim being selection to the Surrey team for the English Schools Track and Field Championships in July.

There were GOLD medals for Lucy Broderick in the 800m, Katie Mackison in the Javelin and Anousha Wardley in the High Jump. Lily Grant won her heat in the 80mH going on to take the BRONZE medal in the final.

In the 1500m finals, there were 4th place finishes for Felix Vaughan and Pippa Roessler. Both are in the younger year of their age group so will have high hopes of medals next year.

Others to reach the final of their events were Abi Horsfall 200m,  Maddy Pullen 300m,  Amelia Watson 80mH and Abbie Owen in the 800m.

The top two in each event have won selection to the Surrey team for a South East Inter-Counties T&F match in Basingstoke, Hampshire this Saturday.
