The third of this year's Lily B League matches took place in Guildford on Saturday. As usual there were numerous good performances and a number of Personal Best's achieved including amongst the highlights on the day the following:

In the U15's sprints there were PB's for Vicky Wilkes (200m) and Lily Cain-Jones (100m) and Lily also finished in second place in the Javelin. Pippa Roessler took second place in the 1500m and Frankie Evered was third in the 800m.

Amongst the U13's there was a huge throw in the Discus by Francesca Manrow, recording 16.63m!  Francesca also competed in the 200 and 800m's finishing fourth in both races. Eva Marsh ran a PB in the 1500m finishing 3rd in the B string whilst Lucy Dénecé took third place in the A string. There was a big leap of 3.74m by Anya Gill in the long jump.

Several U11'S competed in the non scoring events and in the sprints, Lily Woodhams ran 11.5 in the 75m to finish 4th fastest. Harriet Thynne and Edie Phillips performed well in the 150m and amongst several taking part in the long jump, Katie Foss, Harriet, and Lily Woodhams all recorded jumps of over 3m. Five took part in the 600m where Katie Foss finished 2nd in 1.59.3 and Lily Woodhams 4th in 2.00.7. Both times are exceptional. Carson Morley, Pollyanne Stott and Scarlett Nimako also ran well.

Many thanks go to Gina Watson who performed tirelessly all afternoon as our UKA qualified official and to all those parents who volunteered to assist with the officiating.
