Hi there, My name is Pam Gaffney and I am the fundraising co-ordinator at the charity, Mane Chance Sanctuary based in Compton. We rescue and rehabilitate abused and abandoned horses and invite organisations who work with sick, disadvantaged or disabled children and young adults to spend time at the Sanctuary. There, they can spend quiet time with our healing herd or can integrate with our staff and volunteers working on life skills and social interaction. The process offers relief for children, young and vulnerable adults through this therapeutic work as well as working to alleviate the suffering of animals.
We have purchased 12 places in this year's Royal Parks Half Marathon. Our offer to runners is a place for £50 plus a minimum sponsorship of £400. We have already distributed 8 places and have 4 left. If anyone is interested in one of these remaining places, please contact me.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello. I am the Business Development Manager for the local child bereavement charity, Jigsaw (South East). We support young people who have lost a loved one (usually a parent) or who are facing the loss of a loved one, across Surrey including the Reigate area. We featured on the recent BBC Rio Ferdinand Being Mum and Dad documentary. We are hoping that your members might be interested in supporting us by running for us in events such as the Brighton Marathon (next year!). We are based locally in East Grinstead and work with many Reigate schools.
Dear Reigate Priory AC
We are contacting you as a fellow running club, and we hope you don’t mind. Please help us bring our races, the Marlow Half Marathon and Marlow 7 both on Sunday the 5th November 2017, to the attention of your runners.
For over 25 years we have organised a great community event, well received by independent and club runners alike, and dedicating over £170,000 to deserving local charities. Organised by runners for runners, we are proud of our consistently high race experience ratings.
