The annual Surrey (Bruce Judd) XC Relay Championships took place at Stoke Park in Guildford on Saturday.

Six teams from RPAC competed with each team member running the same lap of c.2.5K around Stoke Park. Our U17W's team finished in 4th place. Lucy Broderick  ran our quickest lap and finished with the 7th fastest individual lap time in the U17W's race.

There was a 4th place finish for our U13G'S A team too. With 15 complete teams (plus some incomplete teams with less than 3 runners) taking part, this was a great result. Two of our U13G'S finished amongst the top 10 individuals with the fastest laps. Lucy Dénecé was the 4th quickest and Shakila Keable the 7th quickest. In the U13B's race our A team were placed 7th with Samuel Stapley running the 14th quickest individual lap (66 boys took part). Our U15B's team finished 13th with all three runners completing their individual laps in almost identical times, all being within 4 seconds of each other.

Several of the RPAC athletes have been selected to represent Surrey Schools in the annual West Midlands Inter-Counties XC match being held this year in Cheshire on Saturday 8th December. However, following Saturday's performances, a number are now likely to be switched to the Surrey County XC teams competing in the South of England Inter-Counties XC Championship in Oxford. Unfortunately,  this year the dates clash.
