VOLUNTEER CO-ORDINATOR

Responsibilities

  • Manage the club’s volunteers
  • Maintain role descriptions of all key tasks within the club. Update as appropriate
  • Create a database of club roles and available volunteers. Match volunteers to roles
  • Plan ahead for new volunteers. Identify training needs
  • Build links to local volunteering groups.
  • Organise workshops on volunteering
  • Support the requirements of other committee members for volunteers with specialist skills
  • Ensure that important external volunteering roles are properly resources e.g. London Marathon and BUPA 10K marshalling

Up to 5 hours per month, but more initially to set up the processes
