Bruce Judd XC Relays Champs @ Guildford Saturday 26th October
There was a good turnout of RPAC youngsters in the rain on Saturday at the Surrey XC Relay Championships held in Guildford.
First off were the U17's and Lucy Broderick ran the 1st leg in a composite team with Woking. Lucy's was the fastest lap for the team (and 6th fastest amongst all the U17W) helping the team to a 4th place finish.
Also taking a fantastic 4th place were the U13 boys team of Max Orchard, Will John-Cox and Sam Rolaston. Each completing their laps with fast times.
With the persistent rain making conditions steadily worse as the afternoon went on, there were many excellent lap times registered by our teams in the U13 and U15G'S too.
Surrey Schools XC Development Day @ Cobham Monday 28th October
It may be half term for most but for ten RPAC Juniors it was back to school today at the Surrey Schools XC Development Day held at Reeds School in Cobham.
One of the two XC development days held by Surrey each year, the varied timetable provides for a great day of inspiration and instruction for our young endurance runners.
Congratulations to Katie Mackison

Huge congratulations to Katie Mackison who has been called into the England and British Athletics Youth Talent Programme. It is the first stage of the Performance Pathway for young athletes to train and develop the necessary skills to progress to becoming senior international athletes.
Katie is the reigning Surrey U17W Javelin Champion and finished 4th in the English Schools Championship in Birmingham last July.
Onwards and upwards for Katie!
