Surrey XC Relay Championships,  Guildford  -   RPAC U13 Boys are Surrey Champions! from Dave Mills

There were strong performances across the board by the RPAC Juniors at the Surrey XC Relay Championships on Saturday.
The U13 boys team of Teemu Sara-aho, James Beaty and Buddy Kedgley were flying, and came home 1st to pick up the team Gold Medals. Guildford and Godalming took 2nd place.

Following on, the U15 boys team of Euan Willis,  Sam Rolaston and Will John-Cox fought for the lead throughout, and were excellent in taking 2nd place behind Herne Hill Harriers and going home with the team Silver Medals.

Our U15 girls team of Ella Scrase,  Sophia Bryant and Lilah Unwin all ran excellent individual legs to finish 5th in the team standings.

Covid and holidays took its toll on our ability to field more teams but U15's Milo Sears and Florence Carter both ran strongly and recorded good lap times as part of incomplete teams.

Next up for the U13 and U15 boys is the English National XC Relay Championships in Mansfield on 6th November when we anticipate the return of Max Orchard and Samuel Stapley who missed out this weekend due to Covid isolating.
