Hello everyone. I hope you're all keeping safe and well. A shorter newsletter this week - enjoy the half term!
Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th November 2020 Priory Relays
We are holding the annual Priory Relays event again this year and have secured a site at the Mid Surrey Pony Club, Hurst Road, Walton on the Hill, KT20 5BN.
The plan is to run the ladies teams on Saturday 14th November starting from 10:00AM and men on 15th November in the same format.
The course will be approx 1.5 miles long and there will be 4 runners per team. We will be using chip timing to record individual runners' times.
Please look out for a message from your team captains to register your interest if you would like to run so teams can be put together.
Please also look out for call for volunteers as we will need a good of people to help us run the event. With COVID-19 restrictions in place, volunteer roles really will be an essential part of our organisation.
Sunday 25th October 9:00AM Informal training run from the YMCA in Earlswood

The plan is for two groups, one slightly faster doing 13 miles, and one led by Ian - a shorter distance taking 100 minutes.
They will be leaving at 9:00AM from the YMCA and heading South.

Sunday 18th April 2021 Boston Marathon - from Jim Vince
I just thought I'd put a plug in for the Boston Marathon to be held in Lincolnshire on 18 April 2021. With London Marathon now October 2021, the UK Boston marathon is around the normal London marathon time of the year in Spring, but is also a very flat and fast marathon for a PB. I've just signed up and noticed there are only 60 places remaining in the 1000 limit so wanted to let people in the club know if they were looking for a replacement for the London Marathon.
See the Boston Marathon website for further details.
Keep in touch
It's more important than ever that we keep in touch with each other at this time. Stay safe everybody. Please let us know if there is anything you'd like to see in the newsletter.
