Members news

Ian Edmonds and Mike Pocock led two great YMCA training runs last Sunday.

Apologies that this was missed in the newsletter due to "senior moments", but there are plans to do another run from the YMCA in the not too distant future - watch this space!

Meanwhile, here is Jack Finn who finished the Crystal Palace Half in 2:12:18 on Sunday and is planning a half per month this year. Good luck Jack, and let us know how you get on.

Unfortunately Jim Vince was not around the UK to run for the club this weekend but he did wave the RPAC flag at the Kowan Trail Half Marathon near Canberra in Australia on Sunday.

It is an event held annually that raises money for the New South Wales Rural Fire Service. Jim managed to win a prize the person who had come to furthest to run on the event! Mandatory kit included a Snake Bite bandage - a little different to the UK!!!

Note that you can see results on our website from the Surrey Cross Country Championships at Denbies and Tadworth 10, both from Sunday 5th January.

Club Championship Wokingham Half Marathon 23rd February 10:00AM

This is the first of our Club Championship races for the season and your first opportunity to win some RPAC silverware.

It is a fast and flat half marathon - the course record is 1:03:14 for men and 1:11:09 for ladies.

This race normally sells out quite quickly so if you haven't entered yet do not delay. Entry details are here

Quiz Night @ The Blue Anchor, West Street, Reigate on Thursday 23rd January 2020

I missed the quiz last week - and the team won! Enough said. We will be at The Blue Anchor again this Thursday 23rd January.

If anyone wants to join the team please email . You need to be there by 19:45.
